Beam Sword

The Beam Sword is one of the many weapons Brought back from the origional Game. Its origin is unknown but Most people think it came from Star Wars. I on the other hand believe it was just something Nintendo came up with to make people think it was a lightsaber.

Star Rod

The Star Rod is a rather stupid looking item but can be deadly If used right. If you add a little smash attack to this item, a star beam will come out attacking the enemy. Origin is probably from Kirby but the Star Rod later appeared in Paper Mario after Smash Bros. Was made.

Fire Flower

The fire Flower works as a flamethrower much different from the Fire flowers in the other Mario games. I really hate this item. I'm not exactly sure if this item is in the Melee but It was in Super Smash Bros. If it isnt in the game, good because this item aint no good.

Maximum Tomato/Heart Container

I'm gonna put these 2 items together because they are so much the same. The Heart Container, Which was from Legend of Zelda and the Maximum tomato from Kirby Make an appearance on SSB and SSBM. The Heart Takes away all of your damage while the Maximum Tomato only takes off 100.

Motion Sensor Bomb

When you activate this mine, and someone steps on it, Boom! This little bugger is my favorite item next to the home run bat. I think this Item came from Goldeneye because that was about the best game around when Smash Bros. Came out.

That Darn Fan

If you actually like the fan, then you gotta be crazy! This is the worst item ever. if you get this item, throw it at your opponent. It is of no use to you. If you like the fan, go slap your opponent with it. either way your opponent will get hurt so you'll be doin good.

Pokéball

As much as I hate Pokemon, you'd think I'd hate this item. But thats not true. I love this item. If you throw it at your opponent, it does some mean damage and then it opens and does more! Duh.. This item comes from Pokemon.

Mr. Saturn

As far as I know, Mr. Saturn is a little blob thing that rides on Ness' head. When you throw him, he grabs items and gives them to you or something. This item comes from Earthbound.

Where's the juice box? I want cheese!

Super Scope

Remember the Gun thing for SNES? the only game I remember playing this with with was Yoshi's Safari. I never owned one but I have a NES Zapper. I wish they would have put that on the game instead.

Food

yum.... Makes ya hungry just lookin at it right? What do I see here... Coffee, Ice cream... A bagel.... Turkey....Some other stuff... I think these items take off damage if you eat them. kind of a dumb idea.

Parasol

This Pic is stupid. This item is stupid. Why do they even bother? I'm guessing that if you hold this item, you can play the roll of Mary Poppins and float around on it. or maybe its used to break your fall. whatever its used for, its dumb.

Paper Ball

This ball thing drops down and items come out. Kind of like a pinata. I dunno what the crap this is for. Why is it called Paper Ball? I guess the world will never know.

Bobomb

Back From Smash Bros. Its the Bobomb! This item is pretty cool unless you get in its way. It will sit there for a few seconds and then it starts to run. If you touch it when it's running it will explode leaving you... well... lets just say it hurts.

Mushroom

Just like in the Mario Games, It makes you bigger when you touch this item! See the picture? Thats about all I can say for this item.

Hammer

This item from Donkey Kong is one of the most powerful items in the game. One hit from this thing and usually it will knock you out.
