Bio:
Samus Aran has a shady past. She was born to Arel Aran and an unnamed father. She lived with her family until she was seven, when her father "murdered" her mother. She ran off, fearing for her life, and joined the Space Hunter Academy at her very young age. She later came back to her home planet, Ceres, and destroyed her corrupt father.
Aran was perhaps too good in her position. Many a time did the Academy send her out on missions, and she would bring back the criminal in mere hours. One day she mysteriously disappeared, and no one knew what happened to her.
Later Samus returned, but she was not as they knew her. She had cybronic features equipped all over her body. Some say that a scientific development group put these on her as a test. Others say it was because she got in the Space Pirates way and they rigged those on her for some strange torture procedure. The most likely reason she came back like this is that she wanted to enhance her bounty hunting abilities.
The Space Hunters then were reported to about a terrible situation; the newly discovered organism named Metroid was stole by Space Pirates and was taken to the fortress planet Zebes. Samus went into the base head first, not wanting her fellow hunters to die before her, and discovered their true evil purposes for the Metroid. Not wishing to have to face a new enemy, Samus terminated all of the reproduced Metroid on the planet. She also met and destroyed Kraid, Ridley, and the Mother Brain, the true leaders of the Space Pirates.
Not wanting something this explosive to happen again, the Space Hunter Academy sent Samus to the Metroid's origin planet, SR-388. She went and was faced with the terrible power the Metroids possessed as they developed and grew. She annihalated them all too, and was faced with their leader, the Queen Metroid. With a little precision and some missiles and bombs, she destroyed the Queen.
As she was escaping SR-388, she found a peculiar egg. It hatched, being just a tiny Metroid, and clung to Samus, thinking she was its mother. Not wanting to terminate the loveable creature, she took it to Ceres for research. The Metroid was tame for the doctors since it trusted them with Samus around.
Later a horrible accident was reported. Samus rushed to the Ceres Research Center to find it in tatters and her pet Metroid nowhere in sight. She looked around and found Ridley's tracks, and then knew she had to return to Zebes once more.
Zebes was not as Samus remembered it. There were more stations inside the planet, and Kraid and Ridley were joined with Draygon and Phantoon. The Mother Brain herself had even made herself more advanced; she was now able to come out of her support tube to slash at Samus.
The bounty hunter fought bravely with the Mother Brain, but her strength would not support her much longer. She was barely at death when her precious Metroid came down and clung to her, giving her some of its energy. She was careful not to shoot her friend or let the Mother Brain destroy it and screw attacked into her repeatedly. The Mother Brain fell once more after a long, painful battle, and Samus was able to escape Zebes again.
The Mother Brain didn't give in so easily. She joined a group of villains that had their own problems with people similar to Samus. One was of a brain species just like her, and she fell madly in love with him. (Guess who? Give you a hint, Venom. Yep, he`s a brain too. Mad science does wonders, don`t it?)
Samus Aran heard rumors of this joining of evils and went to investigate. Kraid and Ridley captured her, and she met the evil's enemies. Some she was familiar with, like Fox McCloud and Mario Mario, but others she had never knew existed. The team, which consisted of Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Kirby, Yoshi, Fox, and Pikachu, vowed to get even after they escaped. After-words, they became to be known as the Super Smash Brothers.
Samus currently is preparing herself for two new missions assigned to her by the Space Hunters and a new fight tournament the Super Smash Brothers are planning to have so they can go and eliminate Bowser. She spends her free time with her Metroid, whom she now calls Squeakers, and often times watches the F-Zero races. Things are now beginning to look better for the bounty hunter, and things will get much better as time goes by.
Nature:
Samus is unusually aggressive and intelligent, molded this way from years of Space Hunter training. However hard the training tried to get her to be ruthless, she cannot help but love some things, like her pet. She does not stop until death or a completed mission. Her strength may be her talent in never halting for her personal wounds in a battle, but her weakness may be that she is lost to her true self in a war and will accidentally hurt others in her path. She will only stop then to help those wounded back up on their feet and to some place safe.
